That has GOT to be the FATTEST, most well-fed Russell's Viper I've ever seen! It's pattern is so distorted by whatever it just ate that it took me awhile to figure out what kind of snake it was! Just be careful around this guy; these have some really nasty venom, as I'm sure you already know. This one probably cannot move very fast(or at all, given the looks of it), so it's going to be rather short-tempered. Just make sure you keep him in sight, that's all. I have wild Rattlesnakes in my yard, and I just know to keep an eye out for them. They don't cause problems unless they get stepped on, but hey, I don't want anyone stepping on ME, either!
